Tonga Post Limited has formally submitted its road based home addressing system covering both buildings and vacant land allotments to the UPU International Bureau for review and endorsement as a replicable model for Pacific Island nations and small island developing states globally.

Buildings on the right of each road from town centre outward: 2, 4, 6, 8
Vacant lot reservation
Unbuilt allotments receive a Lot address. No renumbering is needed when a building is later constructed.
